Dr. Isin A. Mustafa

Dr. Isin A. Mustafa earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tampa
in 2007, where she also served as a member of the Honors Council. She later attended
Western University of Health Sciences, earning dual degrees in Podiatric Medicine and
Health Sciences (DPM/MSHS).
During her graduate studies, Dr. Mustafa conducted extensive medical research and
authored a published thesis titled The Role of Brain Research in Improving Medical
Education in 2016. She was actively involved in numerous community outreach initiatives,
including partnerships with the American Diabetes Association, free clinics, and healthcare
fairs throughout the Los Angeles area.
Dr. Mustafa graduated with honors in 2014 with her Master of Science in Health Sciences
and ranked among the top of her class while earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
degree. She completed a rigorous three-year PMSR/RRA residency program at Chino Valley
Medical Center, a hospital consistently recognized among the nation’s Top 100 Hospitals.
During her final year of residency, she was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
In 2017, Dr. Mustafa returned to her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, joining the Kaplansky
Foot and Ankle Clinic. In 2019, she co-authored a chapter in ACFOAM’s Review Text in
Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. She has also served on faculty at
Grant Medical Center Podiatric Residency, The Ohio State Podiatric Residency Program,
and as clinical faculty at Western University.
