Your First Visit, Without the Mystery
New medical offices come with unknowns. Here's exactly what will happen, what to bring, and what it costs, so the only surprise is how quickly you're in and out.
How your first appointment goes
Book in minutes
Call (561) 915-1934 or send an online request. Most new patients are seen within the week; acute injuries get priority.
Check in & paperwork
Arrive about 15 minutes early for registration. Bring the checklist at right and we'll handle the rest.
Exam with Dr. Cedeno
A focused history and hands-on examination of your foot and ankle, with digital imaging when the diagnosis calls for it. You'll be examined by the doctor, not handed off.
Diagnosis & plan, in plain English
What's wrong, why it happened, and every reasonable option (conservative, laser/regenerative, and (rarely) surgical) with honest pros, cons, and costs for each.
Start treatment, often same day
If laser therapy is part of your plan, your first session can usually happen on the spot. Ten to fifteen minutes later, you're on your way.
Bring with you
- Photo ID & insurance card
- List of current medications
- Prior imaging or reports (if any)
- Your most-worn shoes. Wear patterns are diagnostic
- Your questions, all of them
Good to know
- Free parking on site
- Most patients don't need a referral
- Plan ~45–60 minutes for visit one
- Follow-up laser visits: ~30 minutes door to door
Insurance & costs, the straight story
Here's how it typically breaks down:
- Usually covered by insurance: your evaluation, imaging, and standard podiatric care (including diabetic foot care and most surgical procedures when needed).
- Usually out-of-pocket: laser therapy, shockwave, PRP, and regenerative injections, most insurers classify these as elective. We offset this with transparent package pricing you'll see before committing.
- HSA/FSA: physician-prescribed treatment for a medical condition is generally eligible, we'll provide documentation.
Our billing team verifies your benefits before your visit when you provide insurance details at booking, so the financial conversation happens up front, not in the mail three weeks later.

That's it. No mystery left.
The only thing between you and a diagnosis is one phone call.
