Dr. Cedeno's path to podiatric surgery began with science: a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by his medical degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Miami, Florida.
He then completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle at Chestnut Hill Hospital / University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, the kind of training where complex fractures, deformity corrections, and limb-threatening diabetic complications are the daily curriculum. He has particular expertise in the conservative and surgical treatment of diabetic conditions affecting the lower extremities.
In practice at Abacoa Podiatry & Leg Vein Center, Dr. Cedeno saw the same story repeat: patients arriving after months of temporary fixes, their conditions now chronic. It's what drove him to bring MLS laser therapy, shockwave, and regenerative treatments to the practice, so patients in Jupiter could access genuine healing technologies without leaving town.
